About Ecoworks
Electrify Everything.
We supply the vehicles, build the infrastructure, and keep both running โ so that moving goods in South Africa no longer depends on imported fuel.
Why we exist
South African transport runs on fuel we don't produce.
Almost every delivery bike, van, and truck on our roads burns fuel that arrives by ship, priced in dollars and taxed at every litre. That cost only moves in one direction โ and no operator has any control over it.
Meanwhile the country has more sunlight than almost anywhere on earth, and a grid that badly needs demand it can plan around.
Ecoworks exists to close that gap. We make electric commercial vehicles practical here โ not as an environmental gesture, but because the numbers work better, and because the money stays in the country.
What we do
Three parts of one system.
Electric transport only works when the vehicle, the energy, and the support behind it all arrive together. We do all three.
๐ Infrastructure
Battery swap and charging stations placed where fleets actually operate. We own the batteries, run the network, and carry the energy risk so operators don't have to.
๐ต Vehicles
Delivery scooters, motorbikes, and commercial vans โ sourced from established global manufacturers and specified for South African roads, loads, and conditions.
๐ง Service
Parts, maintenance, and support from a local base. An electric fleet is only worth it if it stays on the road, so uptime is what we're really selling.
Our brands
A range that covers the whole fleet.
We're the appointed South African distributor for electric vehicles across three categories โ from last-mile scooters to full commercial vans.
Scooters & battery swap
Last-mile delivery fleets
Purpose-built electric delivery scooters paired with our battery swap network and fleet management platform. Built for high-utilisation delivery work.
Commercial electric vans
Farizon SuperVan
Up to 376 km WLTP range and 1,350 kg payload, backed by one of the world's largest automotive groups. For fleets moving cargo, not parcels.
Electric motorbikes
Yadea Site coming soon
Electric motorbikes and scooters from one of the world's largest two-wheel EV manufacturers, available through Ecoworks in South Africa.
Where we're going
Using the African sun to power African transport.
Our long-term goal is a national network of a thousand swap, charge, and service points across South Africa โ enough to make electric the obvious choice for most of the country's transport, rather than the brave one.
The next step is pairing that network with solar generation and storage. Stations that make their own power don't just cut running costs further โ they take load off the grid instead of adding to it, and keep working when it doesn't.
That's the ambition, stated plainly. We're at the start of it, and we'd rather tell you where we're heading than pretend we're already there.
Stations, nationwide
Our target network of swap, charge, and service points across South Africa.
Vehicle categories
Scooters, motorbikes, and commercial vans โ the full range a fleet needs.
Solar-backed charging
Planned next phase: stations that generate and store their own power.
